 While material pipeline maintenance is the core of all of our distribution services, it is our ability to analyze and effectively manage point-of-use deliveries that enable the greatest efficiencies. Bins are supported by a first-in, first-out rotation of product that is adjusted, based on forecasted and historical usage, to achieve high turnover with ready reserves.
- Centralized Distribution (CDF) JIT reserves inventory in our main warehouses while providing constant support for bin replenishment. Product is bagged and tagged upon receipt of the scanned replenishment signal, and shipped directly to the customer’s dock. Whether our people or yours meet the shipment and distribute to bins, the cost for this service is minimal.
- Forward Stocking Location (FSL) JIT stations conforming product close to the customer, either in an on-site storeroom or a nearby Anixter Pentacon facility, to support immediate bin replenishment. While this service provides full-time support, the service fee is greater due to facility and dedicated resource costs.
- Kitting Services simplify procurement and inventory control by consolidating requirements, and increase productivity for constant or high production requirements. We can design and provide customized presentation of kitted materials that further enhance the effectivity of this solution.
- Packaging will be configured for your ease of receipt and handling with custom designed bar coding and containers.
- Logistics expertise allows simplified transportation and importation for our international customers.
